Default New DB500C - no channels found? Help

I have recently bought a dreambox 500C. I have connected it to the Virgin Cable but it does not seem to pick up any channels. The software is Gemini Project. I have scanned for transponders but cannot locate any channels. Can you advise? I am based in London and my mate has same box with Enigma which works great! How do i get mine working?

When you do an auto search what number appears next to the SYM, do you get SYM6887 or SYM6952. If anything else then you have a box that will not work in UK until it gets upgraded with some software.

have a look here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ia-telnet-760/ and make a back up image of your mates box and then flash this on your box.

The Gemini images need to be modified to work on UK cable. It will probably say sym6900 and something else.

Best to flash an image which is created for the UK. The Digital Kaos v1.1 image is good.
