I had similar problem in laguna 2010. If you have intelligent positive battery terminal check small red wire. I had broken wire inside insulation.

    Hi,
Once i saw this problem on the same car. I don't remember exactly which one it was but it was because of a supply on the UPC. So check specially all red wires and grounds of the UPC.
If you need wiring diagram of UPC send VIN please.
    Greetings,

Add: I mean the problem is not because UPC feels generator is not working, it is because one of the power supply is low, so you must connect voltmeter to see where the problem is.

Measure really power supply on UPC, example use multimeter or oscilloscope.

i have check all power supply from battery and ground i have wiring diagram.. thanks mates! but car have a bad history.. owners try boost this car with 24v .. So i was burn bcm , engine ecu, upc... i use second hand movano bcm and move just eeprom then i find communication with bcm then open engine ecu it`s was complitly burn.. so i take also engine ecu from movano do virgin a send car to dealer. They say to me sorry but you have to buy a new ecu from us then we can coding them.. I get car back and use can emulator and do immo off.. then car starting but alternator lamp coming up.. Now i got same car at garage and look all volume with can clip it`s all same ass on working cars.. but can to upc diferent.. so i think my emulator on engine ecu do wrong signal to upc...
