    There may be another copy of that damn keys in other chips - who knows. But if you really want to get this sucker to work then try with that eMMC.
    Example of RMPB record below:

    How did you read RPMB partition?
    I figured it out to connect the emmc to rpi , but when i try to read rpmb partition with mmc utils, i get error.
    I am trying to experiment a little with the emmc from the damaged unit.

    I used patched mmc utils code from github, because original one didn't work for me. You can read RPMB without access key. Only read but not write unless you have proper rpmb key.

    I all do it Variant config not in all this chip. If you patched you will need edit metainfo.txt like this

    [cpu\customerupdateinfos\11\default\Dir]
    Link = "[cpu\customerupdateinfos\10\default\Dir]"

    [cpu\customerupdateinfos\13\default\Dir]
    Link = "[cpu\customerupdateinfos\10\default\Dir]"

    add
    [cpu\customerupdateinfos\14\default\Dir]
    Link = "[cpu\customerupdateinfos\10\default\Dir]"

    P.S. May be variant and region in RPMB.

    then n/a dissapear but when you start upadate you recive other ploblem ))

    I thought in protected mmc part are just FEC codes, this is not the problem can be written with vcp.

    In which chip you are doing it?
