Read problems in circuit i had with T420 laptop which uses the Ricoh native card reader that is able to access boot and rpmb partitions.
With emmc unsoldered from board i had no problem.

For read in circuit use better one Sd to usb adapter , it should work.

Hi,

I succeed reading mmc.

I had bad contacts on PCB.

But it is not enought to restore unit.

Please could you confirm flash is inside S9S08 ?

How did you read it?With programmer or card reader.

I used emmcraw tool to make read full in RAW format.

I got 8Go file

can give you more details on how to read emmc and with what tools, i can't read emmc, my computer detects the memory card for about 2 seconds then it disappears from the manager. i use a simple card reader , is it that it can come from the reader.

Read the topic, here are all the details on how to read the emmc.
Post some pictures of your connections , give more details of what are you doing.

Hi,
got a Mib Std2 ZR 5QA035858A unit where I need to remove component protection or adapt to my vehicle.
I dumped the emmc memory, flash an eeprom.
Can we remove cp in emmc??
