I succeed reading mmc.
I had bad contacts on PCB.

But it is not enought to restore unit.

Please could you confirm flash is inside S9S08 ?

what you mean with bad contacts? Wrong pinouts or whatever?

I did all like in OP, and same set as baleyba BDM used, all connected right way, VCCQ right connected for read-write, tried with USB card reader TRanscend, micro SD Card adapter, different brands of car creaders, and different brands of micro SD card readers, but no way that PC, laptop anything detect when connect to USB or emebeded Card reader ...

When check pins on side of micro SD adapter or usb card reader and pinouts on mobo it has connection, and right pinouts, like dat0, cmd, clk, gnd, vcc, all connected as in OP, tried even all 8x pinouts, same situation...

So if anyone of you has some tip, what else can try , or what i do wrong, to check, and re-try to make this working. When check by multi-meter pin of micro SD adapter and pinout on mobo, no 3.3v, but whole time all connection 0, what is here wrong, that no 3.3v?

Maybe current draw from board exceeds what adapter can supply and adapter cuts power to the board?
Wrong connection?
What board do you have? Post photo with connections .
Did you try to measure Vcc with the line disconnected from board?

You were absolutely right, wrong connection, wrong some pinouts i connected, and now all ok, did as you explained in OP, and all ok, connection work, dump made, thanks to you and your great work in this thread.

Once tnx for your amazing work, and help many people in this thread to fix their problem by emmc dump .

I'm trying to read EMMC on a Technisat ZR unit. I tried several card readers, but none of them sees the EMMC. Every says the card reader has no card inserted.
Could you help me checking my pinout?
I have connected it like this:

On the board I have connected the VSS and +3.3V probes together.
On the card reader I have connected the pins 3 and 6 together.

I have a Technisat "5C0 035 200" (no navigation model) running MST2_US_VW_PQ_P0245T firmware.
I'm in Canada, so not looking for the usual EU conversion. Looking to retrofit into my 2013 Golf SportWagen.

Regarding rpmb partition in emmc. I just replaced an emmc on a zr unit and all fec lost. Now i’m thinking to make a custom emmc image with an extra 128k partition and to mount it as /dev/hd1. Did anyone try this ?

Hmm and what is with the rpmb password?

If you changed mmc you can't add anymore a fec
