    Default BDM100 / Kess V2 and SID803A swap

I need to swap my own ECU (PCM) from focus 2006 2.0 tdci, which happens to be SID803A (it works as long as the smart charging system is not connected). I have two choices:
    1. Program second hand ECU with Forscan. The issue is that I don't know for sure if the DPF and PAT tank were removed from ECU configuration. Forscan shows PAT tank empty, but there are no dtc's in memory. Hence, using factory setup as build can lead into problems. One may say what's the problem and off it, but I cannot afford having this car out of service if bad happens.
    2. Read the old ECU as it is and program the donor. I am looking at using BDM100 or KESS V2, both clones from ebay.
My question is if it can be done without any pin numbers, having just the donor ECU without dials etc?

I thing you have to use bdm tool, to read the ecu full in bdm, usually kess reads only maps, partial, not full...
