Dashboard swap mercedes c class

Hi.

Need to swap faulty dashboard with scrapyard one.

Have to make it same km as old one.

Swapped as is works almost all, only km display has no data on it.

Is needed swap any eeprom or mcu data inside the dash to make it fully working?

Is mercedes c class w203 year ‘02

Both dasboards are same partnumber.

Its w209 or w211 not w203..............
Dash need autorization Star Xentry away,but before need put 0 km .
Or if donor dash by nr.same try swap eeprom data (NB!before read/safe ori/donor data)

I realized inside is 24c17 eeprom. Will try swapping eeprom content and give it a go.

So, i desoldered both 24C17 and kept safe backup of both, now on scrapyard dash wrote ori dash backup and so far so good all seems to work. Km show original ones powering up on bench. Next move will be test on car if all working fine.
