Default Nissan Airbag Module No Communicating

    Hi!

I faced problem with two Nissan modules: 2014 Murano and 2015 Versa that the scanner can't communicating with module even before open it and after clear the crash, someone told me that many times Nissan airbag module brakes down after crash and need to change, is that correct?

Big thanks for all of you

Good rule is to have a couple scanners to try and communicate with vehicle. If the module is offline in most new cars there will be other modules throwing code that they do not see that airbag module. Such as the occupancy control module, body control module, instrument cluseter, anti lock brake module & engine control module. What scanner are you using to scan the vehicle? I use a snapon verus d10, xtool ps90, & nissan consult. I also have carprog which allows me to directly communicate with airbag module through obd, which i read and write the infineon modules with through obd.

Thanks a lot for these useful information, do you know how can I find a list for vehicles supported by carprog can clear the crash direct to the obd with no need to open the computer module, is there another programmer brand can cover more cars.
    Best
