2015 Audi S5 internal checksum error in dash??

Hello guys,

I have car in workshop that has a internal checksum error fault stored in electric power steering module with red warning on dash not to drive the vehicle.The fault is static cannot be cleared. I already reflashed power steering rack with SVM code through ODIS. The fault and warning light went away until vehicle was driven. After about half a mile the warning and fault returned. Any ideas if this can be fixed via reflash or do I need to remove module and inspect for faulty hardware. Vehicle was not in accident of any sort. Module looks dry no intrusion into any connectors. Just wondering if I have any other option other than replacing the whole power steering rack??
