Default Help, I lose power with a 4-way Splitter

Hi, please help me with this house cabling issue...

I have been watching SAT for 3 years, using one 4-way splitter. I was happy because had had only 2 decoders (Digital+ original box AND DreamBox 500S) and they ran perfectly, no matter if I connected both of them in cascade (using only 1 output of the splitter) or connecting them in 2 different outputs of such 4-way splitter.

Few days ago, I bought a new DreamBox 500+, but when I connect it using a second output of the splitter while leaving the other 2 in cascade through other output of the splitter, the result is that the other two lose signal power. I guess I have some power leak, but how to solve this (?).

In the other hand, I can not use a 2-way splitter because my house's cabling structure does not allow me to use it; i.e. I need at least 3 splitter outputs for leaving room, kitchen and rooms and I plan to buy a 3rd DreamBox in the future.

This is the info on the sticker of my 4-way splitter:

    Brand: "ENGEL"
    Model: "MP7621"
9.5 dB per each of the 4 output ports
It says: "All ports power pass"

If you are using 3 sat boxes with one standard LNB this will cause problems when one box selects one polarity and another box selects another, you need an LNB output for each box to ensure all 3 will work at the same time.

Astra transmits 4 bands, Vertical High, Vertical Low, Horizontal High, Horizontal low, a single LNB can only send one at a time so if one box is on a channel on VH whilst the other is on VL only one box will get signal.

Change your LNB to a quad and run a cable to each sat box to solve this problem.

    Hope this helps
