Depends on immo series, not all go.
And make sure that you use 2 of the same brand keys.

Why? There's at least couple tools which can do this. Here Smart Pro doing this:

Then x300 possibly to. But only mazda 3.
I have tried cx3 and cx5, they are supported up to about 2016.
The keys used are the same.

Remember to get 2 keys, from the same factury, or key problem mesagge will come on display.
Keys dont lock and can be reused.
    And a 2 key minimum.

Like I said, made cx5 Europe 2017 with x300, on menu really was still 2016, but it goes. I didn't check is this beginning or end of the year.

    "2key minimum"

    thats not strictly true either

you can start the car with one key

but remote and proxy functions will not work on the first key until the second one is intoduced to the car

so if you really want you can sell them one key and just have them use the door key to open the car and and use the key to press the button to start it......

in case of broke asses really

tell them to come back for a second and you can activate the prox and remote functions for them as well
The thanks button is HERE looks like this --->>> THANKS

Mazda 2017+ owner who has no money for 2 keys, that's a waste of time.
