    Thumbs down Starview 5 Playback

The starview 5 uses a very obscure file format call mpeg ts (.ts) for recording onto a portable hard disk or usb stick but it also create an index file for the recorded video.

Now i have absolutly no problem playing anything created by the box on a computer, what i can't seam to be able to do is to create an mpeg ts file that will play on the box (I have mangaged to create a .ts file but the box refuses to display any picture and the sound comes out garbled). Does anyone know of any program or video convertor that will replicate the recording style of the starview 5 or can someone tell me if they know of any program that will create the index file that the box seams to need for playing the .ts file. Its very frustrating

    Default Only Does HD

Free media video converter only records .ts in HD and the starview 5 can't decode HD thus HD channels not displaying anything
