few used ones eBay but dont know if these can be reused ? and cant see any cases available for refurb either.

Just try 7M3959753 from kd900. T4 after facelift should have same remote and Sharan/Alhambra.

These are 100% reusable. Old sharan, t4 and Ibiza 99-01 should fit too but they have oval shape. Learning is specific for them too.
