Second hand ECU

Hello everyone
If someone could help with my problem I would apriciate,
I'm in sutiuation to change ecu in my Astra H
The problem is if I buy non reset ecu could I read pin from that ecu and then change all modules in car to fit that ecu. My ecu is magneti marelli mjd6O2 fgp 55191137.
Previous atempt with "specialist" resulted in ecu fited but I'm unable to reset that ecu. He somehow managed to instal that ecu with diferent pin code and vin number. Car can start but not working well.

Do you still have to original ecu for the car ???
Guessing your "specialist" just picked up a immo off plug and play type ecu just to get the car running !!
Maybe you should ask if people here can help you make the ecu Virgin then maybe something like Opcom to code back into car seems a logical cheaper solution and a nice little challenge for you !!
