    Default Bosch EDC17C64 / Bosch EDC17C74 read/write took

    Hello,
please tell me which tool/device can read and write ecu file for Bosch EDC17C64 / Bosch EDC17C74. I have Kess v2 (china clone) and i can do ID and WRITE functions but i cannot read the ecu file with this device. I want to buy one that can read and write this ecu. Thank you very much.

yes, you can read the ecu by Ktag...
yes, you can write by kess...

But it seems you are writing about clones, it all depends of the quality of your clones...
and the red colour of pcb is not a guarantee that it will work...

clone MPPS v18 can do it on bench in tricore mode, without any problems. also the fgtech v54 can do it. just remeber to buy an external power supply as well.

Galletto V54 (china clone) can NOT read/write an EDC17C74 from Passat 2017 year.
    Ecu has TPORT V13
    Galletto V54 only TPROT+8
It is better to arrive 10 minutes early, than to be bored all the way.
