    Default VP44 pump

I really would be interested in knowing if this diesel pump can be repaired instead of having to buy a Bosch "rebuilt" unit. I would think that it would be a less expensive option!

Transistor failure is not the only problem on VP44 pumps. From my experience, most common problems of this pump are:

    1. angle encoder sensor
    2. timing control valve
    3. blocked fuel passages on the pump housing
    4. wear on the timing device piston and housing bore
    5. drive shaft oil seal
    6. and many more

    Good luck!!!

I dont like to use this solution...If you read first post it has 5 pictures, here you have working solutions.

    Pictures that you uploaded:

One shows an alternative point to solder when you **** up original pcb pad.
The other one it is typical solution...but in my opinion must be less destructive, you Know these pcb boards are very , very sensible. Touch it the least as possible if you want a good work.

If you read at least the 5 first pages you will Know what I am talking.

My advice??? READ ALL 79 pages and you will learn all what you need.....most important thing: THIS IS NOT A 100% REPAIR SOLUTION .

    Hope it helped you!!!

Hello I have received this module to test. I have wired and I think it is ok, car should have another problem...but it is very curious to see this original transistor has 2 aluminium wires for 1 transistor leg ( totally 3) .....all other ecus I have repaired only have 1 alu wire to each leg of transistor...

    One image is clear:

    Ref Bosch 0281010888 345167 881151

Any opinion? Its first time I see it!!
