    Hi foks,

I tried the repair on a '99 bmw e46 320d m47. the car does not start. No high pressure fuel out of the lines when I lose the bolt on the injector, I can stop the flow with my finger. I suppose 2000 atmosphere should blow the fuel to the hood. When I examined the psg5 I noticed that one leg of the transistor came of due to fatigue.

I did the wiring according to the image I attached. The ifz44n is screwd against the edc housing for cooling. I soldered the blue wire to the aluminum wire and the pink one to the smallest point on the board. This small point was very difficult to get the solder to stick. Is This is ok right?
Is it ok to put the gray wire to the middle pin of the fet instead of to the screwplate? And is it ok to connect this wire only to this point on the board or does it have to be wired to the other side as well? (like drivergabriel step4).
How can I check if the fet is alive?

    Greetings from Holland.

    Default Erasing VP44 maps

    Hello DK,

Can someone please share how to erase all maps on a psg5 VP44 ecu? We often have to replace PSG5 ecu because all maps have been consumed by previous calibrations. Ecus are still good, but will not accept a new calibration because there are no free maps remaining.

    Thanks a lot.

There is no way to do this,in the ECU is OTP EPROM and some flash MCU, maps are in EPROM...

Hi, you must change INJECTION QUANTITY, now you have about 7 - 9 mg/str, it must be 3-5.

I think it's a mechanical failure the pump can give you to report errors
    P1220
In Opel cars then occurs P1220

As far as I know, only the Bosch test stand with VP44 hardware and software can properly calibrate this pump.
