Question PSG% angle sensor pinouts ..!!!

hi friends , i need clear information about this sensor and PINOUTS ....
i am trying to make trigger circuit directly from this sensor to 12 volt valve ,
i need 4 pins information of the sensor ...
there is some little information about this sensor in forum but not helpful...
any help will be great ...
    thanks in advance..

    Hi there,
I'm new here and I'm currently reading through this huge thread but if in the meantime someone knows exactly where the fault is with my engine I'd appreciate a little help.
    Here it goes:
    It's a van transit mk6 from 2002 with 100 000kms, diesel. I believe injection pump is VP44.
The van was running fine until a couple of days ago when it lost power. I had to limp back home but it made it!
It starts fine, idles fine but no torque, can't accelerate past 1500 rpm. No knocking, no shutting down, but hesitates and engine is rough when accelerating, it's difficult to climb hills.
With my phone and a cheap elm327 I can see p0149 and p1564.
Fuel filter is new, lifting pump sound ok.
It all points out to the vp44 and I can see a lot of mosfet replacement on the web but before digging in I'm trying to understand how the pump works. My guess is that with a dead mosfet the engine wouldn't start at all. Am I right?
A dead solenoid wouldn't let the van start either.
I'd think it's more a sensor issue, the pump still works but can't read something so reverts to limp mode.
These are all guesses but if you're in the know, please enlighten me!
    Cheers
    Eric

Hello, how are you? I have the following question. I have a ford tourneo 1.8tddi 75cv year 2006 stopped with pump problems.
It stopped and never started again.
I bought a used pump already repaired and mounted it. I coded it with forscan, and nothing, it did not start.

I have measured voltage and I do not have the 5V from the gyro sensor. I have neither in contact nor in starting, only tenths of a volt. I should have them constant right?

Then on the solenoid mosfet, I have:

    Arrow 1: -0.11 in ignition

    Arrow 2: 2.01 V in ignition

    Arrow 3: 0.00 V in ignition.

And when starting, on arrow 2 I have 12 volts. But on the flow solenoid, 0 volts

With this data, do you know what could be happening?

I have been looking at voltages, and realized that I have no voltage across the transistor gate. What is this about ?

WOW, this is some thread, loads of info! so thanks to all.

Interesting that someone suggested that rather than changing the MOSFET it was the Angle position sensor output levels at fault, was this ever proven? the guy only submitted 4 posts then left.

Also lots of talk about the difficulty of replacing the MSOFET due to the soldering to the small pads and aluminium legs and how long the fix will last.

Rather than jump straight in and replace the MOSFET, has anyone measured it with a multimeter on diode test? I get readings as though it is two diodes back to back. Does anyone know if this is a good reading (i.e MOSFET ok) or a bad reading? I know the reading is not what I'd expect from a MOSFET, but as it's in circuit this may be correct.

    thanks Darren

Hi, Does anyone have a working pump with the lid off?

If so could you measure with a multimeter set to diode test between the following points

    1 to 2
    1 to 3

    then reverse the leads

    2 to 1
    3 to 1

and let me know what readings you get? I'm interested if you get a reading one way and not the other.

this will help me determine if mine is faulty or not

(Picture taken from first post in this thread, thanks for posting)

    many thanks

Most common faults of transistor are short d-s (1-3) and
    unsolder from pad .
How about making soldering of transistor to pad a lot easier
using a low melt point solder like this
