Exclamation AUDI A5 2013. Added Key, starts car but no remote.

Hi, added succesfully additional key to Audi A5 2013, Starts the car but remote doesnt work.
I think in this cars with BCM 2, when the transponder is programmed, the remote is also programmed, so no chance to match the remote to the car afterwards ?

Or im wrong and theres some procedure to match the remote ?

Its not a proximity key, its the one you push in the slot.

The only original key on the car doesnt have remote, so cant check exact part number for remote key .

So what could be wrong ?

a ) Its 868 Mhz but i think there was 2 or 3 different versions of 868mhz , maybe it isnt the correct part number key and theyre different 868.XXX Mhz ?

b ) As its a chinese Key, remote doesnt work because of bad quality ?¿

descarga.jpg Its like this photo key type.

I think ill buy a local keyfob and try again, that will cost more than china key but i suppose better quality.

This is usually the quality of the after market key!, try using an original which has been unlocked, if you search forum, they are few hints and tips.

Had the same problem with 2 chinese keys! Car started but no remote so from that moment i buy used OEM keys. Renew them and they work perfectly.

    Hello,

I have a 2013 Audi S5. I am new to key programming with Audis. Looking for advice on what tools are out there that can program keys? Preferably with all the features intact.

    Thanks!
