Opel Simtec 71 repair

Hi,

I have opel zafira 1.8 petrol and I have problem with ECU Simtec 71 with DTC P0202 (Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinder 2), but Injector is OK. I know that the problem is in ECU.
Do you know which pin needs to be repair in ECU??

repair this ecu is not easy...........if you have not skills so will be better buy used one and adapt to car

I allready repaired two Simtec71 but never with this DTC. it is not easy to reapir I know but I dont know of the problem is in connection (standart error) or in transistor. All connection looks fine

Hello, i have problem with corrupt flash , need recovery in boot mode , how to?
which is the point to enter boot mode, but I do not know what soft to use

I know, but I tried wire and all looks fine. did you repair this ECU with this DTC P0202?? please do you know which pin is broken?

injector pin1rt bl +12v pin2 br ws -pin 29 ECM

Hello, i've had this problem, solved by changing the wire. Also on simtec 71 and dimtec 71.5. if the problem persists, there must be a mechanical issue inside your cylinder/motor.

Hello, i have two simtec 71 bricked by some smart guy that reflashed those ecus with 24kb files instead of full flash and i have no sollution for that.

i have 1 ecu with the same condition. Try with sps can not ..... invalid ecu, but still recognized by opcom

Just out of curiosity, can someone explain why/what is hard to repair on these? So far, I only came in contact with older ECUs which were simple to deal with. Most "complex" was IAW 5NF which I guess is not very complex ....
