BMW 20 PIN CONECTOR

Hello,

I have to do an stage 1 in a 2000 BMW 320D, wich dont have OBD2 port, just have 20 bmw pin conector.
I have original Kess v2 and KSuite, but only have original OBD2 cable. I have an adaptor like this:

Can I use it or its dangerous for the ECU? Someone have tried it?

I did many bmw with this cable . If you get id you are on the horse bro. Reading and writing all o k . But before write i always do on these old ecus. CHKS calc with ultimo.exe

just turn on your brain and you can check it yourself, it takes about 10 seconds of googling

Yeah i knew... but i contacted to alientech before posting here and they told me not to use it cause its dangerous to brick the ecu....

Supossed they told me that to buy their original cable, but i wanted to ask here for opinions because i know some mercedes conectors that have electronic inside...

Now i know i can use it safely.

Open it up and check the pins if you're not sure

Why would not be? it is just bridging pins for god sake. you can use wires to connect to your kess if don't have adapter
