    Default Chrysler Cars Vin question

As far as I know, It doesn’t, in fact you have to match vin to yours with a scan tool to make it work, TIPM, WCM and CCM are the ones that you have to take care as the can be configured differently as you plug them and open key switch, and it is very difficult that SRS and ABS pulls VIN from network without making a network restoring or module initialization. Another thing is when your pcm doesn’t have SKIM (immobilizer) and you plug another car pcm which it has SKIM, then automatically configuration in the pcm changes and and you’ll have to either buy another pcm or install SKIM, match it to the vehicle and program it
