It does work, maybe you need to check the menu, there you must also choose KM instead of mileage.
Maybe also check coding.

hy , need dump for skoda octavia dash 1z0 920 812d with 226 000 km ,i read and write with carprog but when i put dash on car apeears 250.000 ,
please help because i check with lincnik 48 tel me i have 226... i dont now were i mistake .

This is the low-line cluster. There is no km sign in the display, only miles.
The value of odometer will change from miles to kilometers, but after the numbers you will still have miles.
You need to change display to see km.
