Default 2015 Chrysler Van. “BadKey” Error. Doesn’t start. reprogam key ?

    2010 Chrysler Town and country.
Recently starting of vehicle was intermittent sometimes, now doesn’t start at all. Displays “bad key” on dash.

    DTC codes:
    B1A25 - invalid key
    B2229 - skreem internal - skim immobilized
B1A35 - unidentified key communication error
    B1A6C - secret key mismatch

Problem in key or in immobilizer or bcm ?

Also I tried reprogramming the key but it was asking for pin. Where can I get the pin ?

I think could start with a picture/link to which kind of vehicle. Using Google gives me Chrysler Town and country model. Not sure if this is the right model?
And also which type of key is used.

If standard blade key. Maybe you could open up the shell and hold the pcb closer to the coil pick up. To check if the signal is weak.
Or clone a chip, and use an empty blade key for testing.

Bad key will mean replacement of key most of the time. Unless you have unlock equipment you will have to start with new key, but price has come down quite bit on Chrysler Fobik. Intermittent sometimes can mean WIN module but, start with new key first s it is much cheaper. I have one customer who has had couple of bad keys, his drivers are constantly going through security, I suspect they might have been affected by microwave radiation. Just a wild guess on that.

Any of the major programmers will pull can pin, app, autek, I think even ck 200 will pull pin. Old kp819 will pull pin and program. Dealer is a little thin on handing them out.

    depends but heres the issue

your arent doing enough or dont have the equipment to diagnose this properly

what camel said is true about the keys and the WIN mod but

do you have an immo ring detector? did you check to see if the ring is giving signal to the key?

do you have a cloner to check to see if the key is reading correctly or at all??

i have replaced win modules on these plenty

    we need more information

if you dont have it or cant get it pass on the job and get these things so that next time you will be able to do it

(immo ring detectors can be had for 5$ ///////cheap chip detectors can be had for dirt cheap as well ////////150 for a decent cloner vvdi mini key tool which can do all of that)

as for you trying to reprogram the key what are you using???

that must be an ancient programmer if it isnt pulling a pin from a fobik chrysler or is this an obd scanner with some extrafunctions?

as for the pin you could have the customer get it for you at the dealer or buy it from a code broker or just get a better key programmer...............honestly this is a super easy car
The thanks button is HERE looks like this --->>> THANKS

sorry, yes i do not have enough tools to diagnose this properly, dont have ring detector etc, just the scanner.

only thing I can try with my tools since the guy has another van like this with same key is to program that key to this van and see if it will, work if not than the problem is not in the key.

You would have to unlock fobik from other van which would cancel programming to original vehicle.
