    Default USA vs EU cars

One Vauxhall 1.9 cdti = opel or saturn 1.9 cdti from Europe/Australia ? Same for other brands, they have the same Ecu ? the same coding ? Can those tools(delphi and others) work with his corespondent from another continent ? Sorry for my bad english.

Americans like German and Japan cars but only ones with gas guzzling, planet killer v8 engines, so the answer is maybe.

I can only tell you about my Audi A8 L 4.2 V8 imported from Canada: ECU is exactly the same, only difference is Taillights, Sidemarkers (Frontbumper is also prepaired for them in Europe), speedometer (mph instead of kmh), sunvisors and right sidemirror. The rest is all just coding, like radio or taillight behavior.

also the dashboard and sat nav have a tendancy to talk in an arrogant manner saying stupid stuff.

other than that, they are exactly the same car.
