Remote Controls vs IMMOBILIZER List

Hi, always when I ask for supported car list from every tool for programming keys I receive 2 tabels, one with remote controls and one for Immo, what this means ? I know what is Immo and what are remote control but it is not fixet in my brain that thing.

The list of "Immobiliser" shows which cars the tool will program transponders into to start the car, this includes remote keys which program at the same time, like PSA vehicles.
The list of "Remotes" shows which vehicles the tool programs remote functions, such as older VW vehicles.
