    Question Infineon C167 read\write IROM

    Hi guys
I'm trying to read C167 internal ROM. Already tryied with Minimon and FLASHit and can't connect. Processor enters in BSL mode and even once returned the ID number "C5" but nothing more. Im connecting on Rx and Tx pins directly in the processor and pull a 8k resistor from POL.4 to ground as the datasheet tels.
    The ECU is EDC15P+.
May be someone had allready did that and can share the connections and hardware\software used to do so?

Full part number ? Some of the derivatives is ROMless.

And why you need ROM ?

My guess is you can't find the original no. but only Bosch B58937, anyway it much possible to be C167CR-LM
which is ROMless. If in doubt and you having Piasini, may try its available "C167 Internal" menu but I never.

edit: I don't know Minimon but you may try K-line with k-line tool.

Did you use Kline to read it or did you use the tx and rx pins?
