Why not just get a complete donor car and swap all modules

In order to sort that issue you will literally have to draw up a circuit diagram of that section including the burnt resister, You will also need too know its correct value. Just because you found a similar looking component elsewhere means nothing at all. It could be literally one of 60 different values.
I hate too be the bearer of bad news, however in 99percent of cases you are simply looking at a effect, rather than the cause of the issue. A resistor letting out the magic smoke is not going to be the only issue, hence someone else suggesting too check the nearby voltage regulator.
You really need to determine what that resistors purpose is in the circuit, and if indeed it is even related to CAN.
If you plug the modules back in place it would be probably a good idea too check the resistance between can H and L and post the value, with and without your added resistor.
Also check that neither can H nor can L are shorted to earth or B+
It would be probably easier and more successful to obtain a replacement module from a wrecking yard etc.
Quite often, especially with small signal circuitry, the interconnections between components actually travel inside the PCB, there could be up too 4 internal layers there. Current enough too smoke a resistor is more than enough too fuse a track inside the board, a problem that would be near impossible too diagnose and rectify, if even possible, over a forum. If you can find a schematic, and idealy also a PCB layout, you would be in a much better position too attempt a repair. You would probably need a high resolution photo of an identical module too determine the actual value of that burnt component,
If you can post better photos of the area of damage it would maybe also be helpful.
Sorry I cant really be of more help, its not a vehicle we see much of in Australia.
    Cheers!
