Post Clarification of the Peugeot / Citroen BSI ECU system

Hi could someone please clarify the setup of the Peugeot/Citroen BSI ECU system as i have read many contrary pieces of information.
The system as i understand it. Peugeot 206 2001 for example.

The Ignition key has a Transponder inside.
Aerial around the key sends code to the BSI.
I have read the Transponder Aerial is also matched to the Transponder.
The BSI is originally in Virgin state and is programmed to accept the Key after that accepts only that key.
Can extra keys can be added ? or are they merely duplicates of the original Transponder ?
The ECU does not contain the Transponder information but has a 4 Digit PIN code that is set at the factory.
This is also matched to the BSI when first configured from Virgin.
If the BSI and Transponder match and the ECU and BSI 4 Digit code matches then immobiliser is deactivated

Is the BSI virgin BIN file the same for all models of Peugeot/Citroen

Not too many questions i hope but seemed easier than 10 seperate posts

    Thanks
