Where can I find the code for the radio in my dump with the meter. VWt5 2005 7h0920851D.

and it's not in the meter?
I am asking for info because the radio is original and with the old meter the radio decodes itself and at the new meter the radio calls for a code

Radio is syncronized with VIN number, that is why you need code now... Put here label from radio and somebody will tell you which dump you need from radio...

but the content of vin, immo id is rewritten. and its not working

don't know if its the same on your radi but when vin number is changed there is generally a check sum that also needs changing

....... and then, after the Dash exchange, should there be a startup problem, perhaps it has been solved?
It might be easier to replace the two eeprom .

So I assume the radio is now showing "CODE 1000"?

This is normal because tacho is changed. Just upload dump from the radio, and code is easily found in it.

Enter code in radio and radio will complete final stage in pairing to tacho so no future code is needed after battery disconnection etc.
