mini 2007 round info needed

customer wants a spare , what tool is needed to add another key , mini cooper 2007 , l have vvdi key tool xtool pad do l need bmw tools for this old mini ? cheers lads, just learning and car isnt here yet , l had a key from ebay . can copy keys work ?

what about AK90 Key Programmer

l understand now , l need a new slot to add the key . l have ordered ak90 and adapter for ews1/2/3 chips looks easy for older bmws in case l get any , l know mini might be different , thanks

Try to clone. In fact, according to VVDI transponder ID46 it is possible to clone online:

this mini has cas not ews4 , l have id46 active not sure lf remote will be activate if not on a new slot

no this will not work , just for the fact you have to remove battery and mini smart key is glued and has to be broken to open
