Default Volvo V40 pedestrian warning on display

Hello all here, ihave in my shop a Volvo V40 , thae car had a accident , only the pedestrian airbag exploded.
The owner change the sensors and pedestrian airbag and go to Volvo to reset unit.
All ok , no faults by diagnostic only message on display that pedestrian system need service.
    Somebody had this problem?
The Volvo shop say can do nothing, only change the SRS unit.
How can i read this unit , i see that xprog support this MCU is Infineon XC2361A-72F.
There is another ecu on this car only for pedestrian airbag?

If the main SRS unit wasnt changed then you have to clear crash. Crash is stored in the main SRS unit. Read the MCU and post it here, someone will clear for you.

No faults, because they check faults on main RCM system, which has nothing to do with PPS...

Yes, there is second ECU, only for Pedestrian Protection System...

your diagnosis scans all 2 ecu airbags ???
if the main one has no errors you should have them in the ecu pedestrians if you have a warning on the display .........

    Remove passenger's compartment.
Look up, under the dashboard, near the right pillar...

Launch should make diagnose of PPS without problems...
