I also wanted to know if it reads the protected MCU9S12HZ256, I already asked the question on the website and on Skype, but no answer, terrible support.

hi
Yes I have a very cool one
Hello, dear, sorry to inconvenience for you! cgpro could read 9s12HZ256-3L16Y , thanks
real users dont praise this tool very much for some reason ...
The List of what this tool CAN´T do...
is 10000 longer than the List of a damaged fvdi...
Sorry, but it´s nothing than the true...
sorry to reopen thread but anyone actually using this tool for cas 4 and 35160/128 chips primarily the type with chip ids. torn between this tool and vvdi . pros for cgdi seem to be mileage calcs in built for cas 4 and eeproms. vvdi looks like i need to source them somehow but they also state there 35160wt chip can replace the oem chip and also the 35128wt ? .sorry im a bit confused.
i m sure there are others in the same boat as me undecided which to buy.
Anyone have a download link for the latest update?

V2.1.5.0 (2019.07.19)
Edit: So far I have been able to finish 3 CAS4+ without complications. Both 5M48H mask and 1L15Y. I havent received any 35160WT clusters but I have the adapter and will also report back. So far it has treated me good, but I read a lot of negative attempts so beware and wait until people have experimented more with it.

Now I'm screwed. Halfway through upgrading firmware, the damn "unable to get update info..." box pops up, this status changes to "device disconnected" and it spends the next 35 minutes "updating" but actually doing nothing. So I now have a brick. Lately, CGprogcar has been providing too much adventure for my tastes.

What powersupply do you use to power it? I had similar experiences with a bad power brick, all I had to do was uninstall the software, download the latest version, same as the one posted above, installed the software AND the drivers when prompted and once everything was done, I connected the new power adapter (DC 12V --- 2.0A) and then the USB, and it stopped with the random disconnects.
