    Default Help recognizing a resistor

    I need to know what kind of capacitor i have on the board which i marked with yellow arrow.

    Please help.

    hi mate,
    It is capacitor. You can change it by other same colour and size.

    ah, thanks,
    is this a Ceramic Multilayer SMD Capacitor and if so, what Farads it should be , i need to purchase the same.

    just put same size. This worked for me always.

    To measure the farads you need to disconnect one leg, probably nano farad.

    Not always the case, but if it is a ceramic capacitor probably won't hurt.

    good day need some advice - replaced screen on a digiprog 3 and damaged multilayer ceramic capacitor see image component C71 need the value of the correct replacement i.e. datasheet parameters the temperature coefficient and voltage rating or any other way to determine the value of this multi layer ceramic capacitor suggestions be appreciated

    For a smd ceramic temperature coefficient is probably not important, as a general rule of thumb voltage rating is double the circuit
    voltage ie 5v = 10v \ 12v = 24v or the next value up. the awkward one is the value in farads.
