    Default ktag wont work

    hi i have a ktag and cant get it to work, can anyone help via teamveiw to help. i dont mind paying if you can fix, thanks

    On this site you have pictures and a list of parts on the PCB board. Yes this is KESS but similar things are in KTAG. My experience with repairing my device is as follows. All inputs and outputs are provided with overvoltage. For Kess, these are labeled No. 11 USBLC6-4SC6, which is a system of zener diodes that keep the Kess input or output high voltage.
    I found the malfunction by accidentally touching one such SOT6 and it was hot. When I removed the part from the PCB the Kess device worked until I bought a new USBLC6-4SC6 and replaced it. Aware of the risk of further damage to the CSCE.
    Check to see which part is heating more than it should and if you are lucky you will find a malfunction A thermal camera would be an extra solution and expensive
