Kess V2 problems writing BMW MSX

Hello friends

I have a EU clone Kess V2, it reads MSV80 and MSD80 through OBD without any issues but when I write to another used DME, it writes fine but corrupts HW and SW. The car cranks and won't start. Does anyone know why? Is it possible to fix a DME that has FFFF where software and hardware is?

Essa ECU não aceita clonagem, precisa escrever os dados no CAS.

This ECU does not accept cloning, you need to write the data in the CAS.

So there is no way to properly clone these DMEs? The only way is to write the DME ISN to CAS?

You can’t clone via obd...can’t even read whole file...isn is in password protected area...that’s why car will never start...also msd can’t be cloned on msv or vice versa...

Thank you. I wish I have known that before reading and writing MSD80 to MSD81. I won't be using Kess V2 anymore with these DMEs.

Is it possible to repair the MSD81? Do I find a good flash and write it with another tool? Or is the DME not repairable now?

Try to find good files to write...if not work then you need to do it with boot mode or with winkfp expert mode.
