Default Peugeot 207+ 2013 key references - ask or fsk

Hello, I'm looking for the exact reference of a Peugeot 207+ key made in 2013.

It is very difficult to know the exact reference of the key and its characteristics.

Although this model is derived from the 207, there are variations, and the modulation used may be different.

On service-box the Peugeot Part Number is 649075 (a priori ASK) but this contradicts the date of manufacture
which would indicate that vehicles from 2009-2011 (very wide range read on the net) are delivered with FSK keys.
I suspect the site may not be reliable.

I do not have the original model but I think I'm not wrong if I say that the case is in CE0536.

Could someone tell me what modulation is used for this vehicle (ASK or FSK)?

    Thank you.

2013 for sure must be FSK

also must check your old key is it CE0523 or CE0536

    Thank you very much for your answer;
Indeed the box is an additional problem. Unfortunately I do not have the original key anymore.

According to the following thread it appears that a CE0523 key worked on a system with a CE0536 key.
    https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forum...eugeot-remotes

Nevertheless the copy CE0536 had the battery on the PCB while only the CE0523 are supposed to be like that.
The difference of this European marking seems to be elsewhere: a difference of constructor ? (Jonhson or Delphi according to the thread?).
In the worst case the type of key manufacturer could be changed in the BSI ...

I am thinking of buying a CE0536 FSK.
I will come back here to bring my conclusions, meanwhile I am always open to any clarification

I know this thread but for me CE0523 and CE0536 can't be swaped no matter ASK or FSK

    CE0523 use PCF7941
    CE0536 use PCF7961

I added 0536 FSK to car with 0523 FSK - Car started but remote doesn't work - may be just bad remote I'm not sure

For what I could see, only the 207CC seems to have a version to 0523:
    https://keyfast.knack.com/kd900#kd90...7d7195d8f48ed/

    Thus, on these sites:
    http://www.car-keys-online.com/produ...ey-649075.html
    http://www.car-keys-online.com/produ...et-649075.html
    http://www.car-keys-online.com/produ...et-6490ee.html

    I read:
Peugeot 207 - excluding coupe and cabriolet models.

So yes, this 207CC seems to be the only one with a special key. But 207+ is not referenced on their website.

Understood, that would mean that there are differences beyond the ASK and FSK modulation in the UHF part of the PCF79xxx...

    It's a mess.

    ---

I just saw looking at the links on car-keys-online.com that the two 649075 models have a detail of importance:
On this link, the transponder is PCF7941:
    http://www.car-keys-online.com/produ...ey-649075.html

    And the note is:
Peugeot have changed part supplier for their remote keys. All remote keys are now produced by Delphi.
For this part to work it may require a configuration change within the BSI.
Customers are advised to read the technical service bulletin relating to this.

    Only remotes keys could be affected because normal keys do not have the same tag;
it is in a much more compact form:
    https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32947713335.html

(Impossible to have the reference on mine, the tag is glued with cyanoacrylate which melts its surface and therefore its reference ...).

So maybe you could just change the manufacturer to recover your remote command
    I think it makes sense

We have just to know which one is 0523 and 0536.
I will search in my BSI to try to know the manufacturer...

Hi, some news here; I finally found my lost key and I post its characteristics
so that it can be used by someone in the same situation as me.

    Car model: 207+
    VIN starting with VF3
    Production date: end of 2013

    Remote Key:
    Servicebox part number: 649075
    Model FCC: CE0523
    Buttons: 2
Modulation mode: ASK (verified by KEYDIY in a locksmith shop)
    Transponder: NXP E33L61D (Type PCF7941)
    PCB part number: E25CI009
Manufacturer: Delphi (noted on the key label when purchasing the vehicle)

    Notes:
This key model (same PCB and case format) can exist for Citroen with 3 buttons and FSK modulation.
    Cf: http://www.cnautokey.net/cn016035-or...-p02042p1.html
The number of buttons is not important.

No trace of the manufacturer in the BSI via DiagBox.

So when I ordered a CE0536 FSK model, I was all wrong...
