I read in-circuit with most of my programmer.
pogo adapter or solder point...
Hi all,
anyone have a better way to reprogram 93c76 tssop on subaru dashboard? and has anyone used the tssop pogo adapter successfully with these?
I tried to solder to the board for in circuit reprogramming but it wouldnt read properly so had to remove and resolder chip..
I need to fine tune my technique... a very tedious task... got in done after about 2 hours
Im not excited to do another.. but at least if i had a pogo adapter i wouldnt have to solder to a pcb to reprogram
Just wondering what others are doing , tips/advice?

I know 2 guys from this forum who read a Subaru XV 93c76 in circuit and then they damaged data file and car didn't start any more.
I prefer remove it and solder it on a pcb adapter, it's safer for me.

Is the 2015 impreza with an RH8 chip ? I couldn't read a subaru properly with a TSSOP the last time I had one.
Just an update on this to say I have a few of these with success. you really need the pogo adapter for a fast job.
