Default Mercedes EIS - ESL - How to remove - from vehicle

Can someone help fill the list with info, if it an easy job or not.
To disassemble, and remove the EIS.
So it can be read on the bench.

It is very nice to have some background info, either when going out on a job.
Or if customer traveling far away, to your area. That you know if it is a an easy dismantle job. Or a headache.
Good info when quoting a job, at the same time.

Maybe on some models, ESL needs to be removed as well. Or maybe someone is only interested in the info removing the ESL.

Maybe some links or pictures. Or Youtube videos.

A lot of work. This is actually for "Remote start".
But good pictures, how disassemble to get access to the EIS.
Maybe it is not necessary to remove everything as here in the pictures.
I think I read something about someone, who wondered how to get access. And remove the EIS for this model, a couple of days ago.

W209 europe (and most other) just remove lower panel under steering wheel and grab EIS with your hand. Maybe this guide above is for USA models where I heard there is steel plate above pedals which makes remove EIS from the bottom bery hard or impossible.
