Default Discovery 3 V8 Cluster swap, need help car wont start (old unit not available)

    Hi there,

    i've got a Discovery 3 V8 petrol engine.
    year is 2006 i think.
The car had a problem with the speedometer a while ago and we swapped the broken cluster with a used unit.
The problem is , the car wont start, after a bit over 1000 euros of diagnostics, Land Rover told me the only way to get it started will be to buy a new speedometer and get it coded there. (In switzerland it does cost a bit over 1200 euros)
Second problem, old speedometer was broken and sent to the trash... so we do NOT have it anymore.

is there anyway to bypass that whole security stuff to get it started? maybe immo off?
Is there a way to use an used speedometer to get it working?

it's really annoying and i cant see any good way to get the car started
