    Default 2009 corsa ecu problem (immobilizer)

    Hi trying to code in astra h ecm into corsa d z14xep. Using vaux-com.The astra ecm has carpass and will reset then i go through the motions as per usual into bcm install ecm only, but once ive installed it and check fault codes its coming up 'immobiliser function not programmed'both ecm the corsa and astra are me7.6.2 could it be possible there is different programing on astra h ecm with the original car having cim unit ect.can anyone shed some light.cheers

    If you are programming new ECU first you need to reset ecu then you program ecu only why do you want to reset bcm if that is original just ignore.
    Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

    Thats what i have done reset ecu.then go to immob install ecu only.also have put in ecu the cars vin number.i didnt reset bcm just went into immob that way.i am just wondering if astra h ecu is different form corsa both me7.6.2

    Corsa diesel 1.3 2 types of ecu DHJ & DTH you need to check your old and compare.

    Its not diesel bosch me7.6.2 do you know if there is different varients

    Usually you have to reset NEW ecu by using new ecu pin and after reset,then go to immo,and program immo function for ecu with the OLD pin...Done this today!
    get in all ecu and check faults,and if they have immo not programmed or vin,just reset them with cars pin and re program everything!
    If it does not do this,sometimes opcom cant reset engine ecu..
    you should change software too,just to be safe mate!

    thiught Corsa d has cim anyway !
