Hi If I read it right you can buy a pcima to rs232 which works well I use it all the time

If your using a usb to rs232 you have to go into System then into Device manager and then go into setting correct port if you dont do this it will never work hope this helps the above works xp home and pro

"Game over - insert coin" also applies if the bosses decides to ~~~~ off out without helping anybody else deal with the 10,000 (seperate)customers that all just turned up all in the last 2 mins and then wounder why the laptop that was near the door that got rained on packed up!
(because when you are on your own, you try answerering the phone, dealing with people) and then once you have done that you only then have time to move the computer out of the rain!

    deny deny, plead ignorance, !

i have downloaded one of these 3m OBD-II / EOBD Extension Cable

and will be using a hilti nail g-n to nail the laptop to the wall, because EVERY time the boss uses it, he never puts it on charge, turn on, 'bing flat battery', i don't put it on charge (on purpose) it's me that want's it!
