2010 skoda 1.6tdi pcr2.1 octavia nec 24C32, EEPROM instrument cluster dead after km

Hi im trying to help a friend hes managed to blow his instrument cluster on his skoda Octavia 2010 1.6tdi Siemens pcr 2.1 whilst changing km with obd prog tool


The dash now show nothing at all the car does start but then cuts out immediately due to immo activating.


Im assuming hes either corrupted the eprom or may be the whole cluster is now junk?


We are wondering its its possible to reflash the eprom to salvage the cluster or just recode another used cluster maybe?>

Odis offline but ive never used before




Im hoping xtool may do it as it does have the security block editor function (pictured below) but i would need to pull the immo id / cs / pin / mac1 / mac 2 from the eprom of the simiens pcr 2.1 somehow maybe is this possible from the kess eprom dump?


Would this website do it by eprom dump info.autokey.by






Then would i need to code new transponder keys or old keys still work?


If anyone can tell me best way to go about this with my tools its much appreciated and we are willing to pay for any help and guidance if we can get it back repaired ourselves and running,
