I'm wondering what channels can actually be picked up from plugging a cable box (Dreambox etc) into a Vermin cable nowadays?

Not really interested in cams, lines etc (unless it is really worth doing it), just that I have a spare VM cable in a bedroom which doesn't otherwise have a satellite or a freeview point in the room.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

If you're lucky you might still get the basic channels BBC1 & 2, ITV, CH4 & CH5 in glorious standard definition.

I believe VM removed BBC2 in SD and only broadcast the HD version which is encrypted in most areas
