    Default 2014 CLS550 Electrical Power Steering (ES)

    How can I change VIN# on a used ES it shows original and new #


    I have problem after installation. It turns to the right all the way by itself.


    Adaptation was done. Left/Right are TAUGHT IN
    ES module doesnt show any dtc code.
    What I'm missing here??

    turning to any direction by itself not vin related issue ... it's due to improper installation of rack ... specially torque sensor if you used a hammer in horizontal direction or used power in installing it ... just switch on ignition (eps will not work) and read measured values of torque sensor without touching steering wheel it must be (0 N.M) ... if not then i'm right ... try to loosen screws near torque sensor and toggle the bar between it and steering wheel to make it free ... hook scanner try till you get (0 N.M) ... let me know result please
