Your browser is just where you would enter details to search for a web page etc. Its a search function at the top of the page. If you go to windows explorer (using the method I have posted) you will see "My Computer" in your windows explorer browser - top right of page.

I am not sure why you are getting that message unless you are tying the wrong dreambox ip.address into the browser.

No dreamup is only for images.

Try changing the ethernet cable or verify your setup with another dreambox.

Or do a factory reset on the box you have and try again.

What you using to ftp the files?

I dont like flash xp personally i find dreambox control centre does the business a lot more efficiently.

hi there right i downloaded dreambox control and it looked like the files were transferring from pc to box. done a test and everything is connected box flashes updates software.
initially it did not and i asked to recieve files from box and then it started to work.
however rebooted box and switched and restart, reboot enigma and still nothing still got free to air channels no premium still locked.

    any thoughts

surely it should not be this difficult.

Do you have DM500c? Did u ftp all rom file to var/keys? if not, delete all the file in var/keys first and then ftp nagrarom7, nagrarom10 and nagrarom11 to var/keys forlder in the box. reboot the box and it should be fine. If not let me know.

    Regards
