Hello all ,

Does any have on FORD FOCUS MK3 2011 sony radio problem and message

'' RADIO LOCKED SEE THE DEALER "

I think its to many time put wrong code

Is it possible to reset ?

Unit is : AM5T-18B955

I solved , now is unlock !

If you tray to move from original to second car or you use display from different car !

Or yours battery on car be dead ... You need code

You have 3 times to put code or yours display - radio modul is be locked !

and have message like on first picture '' RADIO LOCKED SEE THE DEALER "

Allso I have possible to read code from sn from sticker .

I have a similar problem, the display / radio asks for a code, it happened after the battery was unloaded in the workshop. I have the serial number SN B6F00 V901342 -> code 0178, but the system does not accept it. Is there any way to revive this system? I can read the MC912XEP100 processor, but is it relevant data?

Hi,

I think that this radio does not need a code, it is enough to unplug the battery for a few minutes and reconnect it and your radio once switched on will no longer ask for a code.

I have very similar problem with my Sony AHU radio installed in Ford Focus Mk3 (2011) - original equipment of this car. Serial number of radio is Z007215 and it's locked. Can anyone of you guys help me?

I have some progress - someone recommended me to use 'magic' code "9668" and it... works. Radio has been unlocked. Very good... Next I restarted car and... radio locked again. Using code 9668 unlocks it but it needs to be putted every time car/radio is powering on.
I think that some BCM/ACM programming/change is needed...

I've just tried to put the code given by you Zecab (7013). Unfortunately it's incorrect

- not possible to unlock radio using it. Still 'magic' code 9668 works (it was given by some user from facebook, but he didn't ask about any serial or VIN). The problem is that 'magic' PIN needs to be entered every time radio is powered on.
@Zecab - could you please write few word how this works? I think that there is some problem with modules software... Few post above you wrote "Need reprogram" - could you please shad some light on this? Which ford module needs to be reprogramed ?
