I understads you concenrs. But again you don't have this tool and this tool working without net around 70% (it's my guessing not an exact value)

I'm buying this tool, going for 508 with the 400 extra, would like to buy from 3d but sterling to euro against the euro to dollar will kill me and also the vat if I buy from 3d, dont get me wrong I'm dealing with 3d a long time and their great for getting stuff out to me in rocket time with fedex, if I could buy without the vat would be a no brainer, but 20% vat on 1200 quid is a lot,

I know what you mean, i weighed the odds up with buying from china supplier at around £1200 may be locked, or £1200+vat and guaranteed to work and not be locked. I'd rather spend extra £240 and have it working than losing all of my £1200.

Or you buy it from mobileecotune at £1090+vat

Be careful, autel France isn't really autel France. It's a computer company who use the name for cheating customers. It's written on real autel website.

Autel is in live contract with the FCA thus the autel products are authorised (ofcourse online

) to using the secured obd communications on the Fiat group cars.

No more bypass cables for the SGW module.
I don't have more info yet but for sure this is not working with chinese machines. Highly recommend to buying from authorised resellers only. Be aware the cheaters like the post above!

thats incorrect , the vast majority of abrites functions work stand alone offline , the online functions are a small percentage , i suspect same with im608 . even lonsdor needs online for some coverage too.

i use abrites every day , i dont need to go online every day .

if it is needed to be online to protect ther software from the clone makers then its a good thing .

I talking with Renault technician , 2021 cars will need token to have OBD2 car access ; for diag or key programming !!!
i agree with you on this point " online became the rule for new cars past 2021 " TOKEN it's the future AUTEL is biggest to sign contract with all manufacturer of car ???
