Any info on handling BMW EGS? My bud got one a couple weeks ago but he has no idea of what it can and cannot do on BMW.

What EGS specifically?

no comms on Zafira B diagnostics. No comms on Citroen Relay diagnostics.

Should have kept my other Autel for diagnostics and got im508 at this rate...

I'm not trying to be annoying but I have access to a couple BMW's I'm going to play with EGS this weekend and wanna see if I have similar results?

just released a nice new bmw interface makes navigation easier
although reading tricore pw in bench mode is broken now
working with them to see what happened

I tried IM508 to read pin on a Passat 36 2012 (only to check it out) it messed up the coding on parking brake module (sorted it with ODIS online after)

On ( also playing with the tool)a Insignia 2016 did managed to read pin but killed the central display, dunno yet what did to it will probs have a look at it tomorrow.

First impression was tool is top but now starting to doubt it?

Well I still got to sort out the display, will see if is dead or what but not exited at all bout' it.

Obdstar, Xtool, Autel are all Chinese Company cloning or copy and paste Oem tools. The im608 has holes to there system, I’ve point it out to there engineer. They do not care in repairing there issue, just keep adding and updating. All the repairs will be going onto the next unit for sale. Im508 and im608 and now im608Pro

good ol' chinese story when the cars is available more or less the stuffs are workig if not available in china (like opel) it's mostly a mess
