    Default Transit Connect 2006 key code from wafers help.

    Lads got hear Transit Connect petrol flap lock all stripped and I am trying to find the key code from lock wafers the issue is not all wafers are stapped with numbers, 3 4 D D D 1, what does D means any help thanks.
    Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

    It's tibbe key? If you have discs (wafers) stripped and you're not sure, just look at the groove on it and compare with known - there's only lack of No. 2 so if groove on "D "will be positioned differ from groove on any other you have stamped then it will be No. 2. Maybe D will equal to No. 4 then groove will be in same place. I think you understand what I mean.

    Cant you just compare them, and find the difference. Or is it worn out lock.

    You have to compare the discs, as stated, D is short for DUMMY. to stop thives.

    Don't forget that you have 3 dummies in there! why don't you decode it with the tibbe decoder, i do these all the time, 20 min. job., try drivers door,back door, or bonnet lock if sum are worn, or have doubts.

    The eight cut tibbie has 3 depth
    the 6 cut has 4 depth
    34DDD1=342221 (all depth used 1,2,3,4)

    d /(empty, sterile,)))) empty fake latches, they do not matter the lock, decode the ignition switch
